No overnight activity

Hello there,
I am new to Ninja and I put yesterday my first fully automated program. I have checked in the morning- no trades, no bars in the chart. Chart started to update from the time I opened my computer. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello NataUA,

While the chart should load historical data once you connect, it's important to know that NinjaTrader is a program running on your local PC. If the program is not running, it is not able to submit or modify orders.

Any orders that were already submitted before NinjaTrader is shut down will still execute at the exchange, but any strategies, even ATM strategies, would not apply if the platform is not running and connected.

If the platform ran overnight and no bars appeared, please let me know. Should this be the case I'd like to take a closer look at your log & trace files to see what occurred.
