Recommended CPU architecture

Is there a recommended CPU / hardware setup for trading and backtesting high volumes of data with NT?

I am in the process of purchasing a new computer but figuring out whether or not to buy an AMD Ryzen 5 or 7. I think the main difference would by multi-core architecture. Is NT8 able to use a Ryzen 7 to its full potential? Or would it be overkill.
