cant back up my charts

i get an error since my NT8 crashed and wiped out all my workspaces 3 days ago and now when i want to back up my files it gives me :
C:/users\samre\documents\ninjatrader 8 Backup\filename.nt8bk'does not exist.
verify that the file name is corret !!!!

please advise.

I am sorry to hear that NinjaTrader crashed and wiped out your workspaces. Based on the message you are receiving, it sounds like the NinjaTrader 8 Backup folder does not exist or got deleted somehow. Please go into your Windows File Explorer (Windows Key + E on your keyboard) and navigate to the Documents folder. If the NinjaTrader 8 Backup folder does not exist, please create a new folder and give it this name. Next, attempt to create the backup file from the NinjaTrader platform again. If you continue to receive an error, please provide a screenshot if possible.


To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

In my document folder i do have a file name backup NT8 and my backup files are there from last week .
