Import of backup failed

While trying to import my backup to a new PC, I received the following error message:

NinjaTrader was unable to restore the selected backup archive file: The column name is not valid. [Node name (if any) =, Column name=AutoLiquidation ]

Any ideas what this might pertain to?

I'm not familiar with this error. If you create a new backup file on your old PC and try importing the new backup file on your new PC, do you experience the same error?

Do you enable all items when creating the backup file? If so, I suggest to create backup files for each item individually and check if these can be imported without error.

That's what I did. I created the backup on the old PC and was trying to import it into a new NT installation on the new PC.

The new PC has version 8.0.23.1 while the old PC is on 8.0.20.1, would that make a difference?

I will try your suggestion of making a backup of each individual item.

OK, I think the problem was that I was trying to import a full backup on the new installation without having it completely registered (in other words, I forgot to put in the license number...lol)

In any event, re-exporting from the old PC individually and re-importing individually solved the problem. I am good to go...thanks again!
