Getting Data Series of an Options contract

How do I look at the chart of an options contract on NT8?
i.e.

SPY Expiring 9 Dec 20 Call option at 369 Strike Price
I opened the chart SPY201209C369 and there was nothing.

When I try the same naming convention as with my connection: TD Ameritrade
with the dot prefix, ".SPY201209C369" I get an invalid instrument error.

We would suggest using the Instrument Link feature on the Options Chain Window and to load the symbol on another window like an Order Entry window. The same can be done to open the ticker on a chart.

Please note: Options are not supported for NinjaScript use.

Would there be plans for NinjaScript to support options in a future update

Options support for NinjaScript is intended for a future version, but I could not say when Options support for NinjaScript will be available. The Development team is working on some other major tasks so demand for this is being tracked in the short term.
