    Problem loading charts.

    Hey! I bought the ninjatrader lifetime platform and conected it with my TD Ameritrade account and when i try to load any chart it doesn load at all. Why can this be happening and how do i solve it? Thank you.

    Thank you for your purchase and welcome to the support forum.

    Can you please tell me what instruments and intervals you have tried when creating charts.

    If you create a 1 Minute chart for AAPL, do you load the requested data? If not, please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files in an email so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents") > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com.
    • Put 'Attn Jason, 2863792' in the subject field.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      Hey, the 1 Minute chart for AAPL does charge, i have problems with the ES, i use it with the 2000 tick just in case you wanted to know.

        Hello,

        Only stocks and indices are supported via TDA within NinjaTrader, so no futures instruments would be expected to load with this data feed. If AAPL is loading as expected everything would seem to be working.

          Okay but on TDA they told me that i could trade futures on ninjatrader, theres no way of doing this with TDA? And if not how could i trade futures?

            Hello,

            TDA's API connection to NinjaTrader does not support futures, so I am not sure why you were told this is possible. If you'd like to inquire about all futures brokers that are compatible with NinjaTrader, please refer to the list below or email platformsales[at]ninjatrader[dot]com

              Okay. I bought the lifetime license with the TDA broker, if i want to use another what i have to do?
