Hello , I would like to know how I can use "Account Groups" in NT8 platform to send simultaneous orders to different brokerage accounts? Thank you

Thanks for your post.

Unfortunately, this functionality is not available in NinjaTrader 8 without custom coding or running several NinjaScript strategies with the same parameters on each account.

As a note, there are often account-side options to display multiple accounts linked under one brokerage login, so we often suggest contacting your broker to see if this can be set up on their end.

Hi since NT8 does not have "account groups" like NT7 is there any plan to bring it back?
Thought since you acquired Tradovate and it is offered there you might bring it to NT8.
If no for NT8, is it possible to trade your NT brokerage account through Tradovate platform?

At this time there is no information if that may be available in the future. I have added your vote to feature request SFT-889. NinjaTrader brokerage accounts cannot be used with tradovate web or desktop platforms but potentially can log into the mobile app. I am uncertain if tradovate app has any type of account group features.

In this 2017 Account Groups for NT8 discussion thread alone there are 10 pages and 6+ years of user votes in support, with many other feature request threads like it, but there is still no indication that NT developers are even working on it. No, I would not think it will happen. If management and the developers wanted to do this, it would be done years ago.

Indeed! This applies to a vast array of genuine "Feature Requests", things nominally "feature requests" that are really either "feature enhancements" or "feature improvements", and the big one, "BUGS".

Note the SFT ID number when you request something. Currently (2023-04-26), a newly allocated number will probably be 5800+. The lower the number, the older the "request". Request 889 is most likely from more than 14 years ago. A quick search of the Forum for an SFT ID that you want to vote for will help to determine when it was first requested.

Don't understand why it is possible in NT7 and not on NT8
