Can't add ES 03-03 to instrument list

gives error message "Invalid instrument name". Are we limited on dates range of instruments?

Thanks for your post.

The platform comes with expiration information back to 2005. To add further back expirations (ensure your data provider supplies data this far back)

• Control Center > Tools > Instruments
• Locate and select 'ES' > Edit
• Scroll down and select 'Edit rollovers'
• Select Add and configure your properties
• Open a new chart with the newly made expiration.

If you do not want your charts to merge back past contracts, you can change your merge policy to 'Do Not Merge' under Control Center > Tools > Options > Market Data > Global Merge Policy.

Thank you but when I click add nothing happens...no new prompt.

My mistake I can add contract except it wants to know rollover date. I thought ninjatrader did that rollover automatically.

Thanks for your reply.

You'd want to add any date in the past there as a placeholder as the 2003 contracts have already rolled over and isn't a variable that will come into consideration.
