Historical Data Replay with IB Data

Hi
So I am trying to create a Historical Playback for a stock (AYRO). So in your guide it states "For Historical playback NinjaTrader uses historical Tick data. " Does this mean that the historical playback only can be done with Tick Data not 1 Minute as an example ? If only tick data is useable what do Interactive Broker clients do then as it seems we cannot download tick data from IB as this functionality is missing in NinjaTrader, is that correct ? So where do I then get my tick data from ?
So I can neither use market replay nor historical playback if I am a IB client then, without finding another source for the stock tick data, is that correctly understood ?

Hello Sune,

Yes, only historical tick data can be used by the Playback connection to replay the market. This is not possible with historical minute data.

Yes, unfortunately historical tick data is not supported with Interactive Brokers in NinjaTrader.

You are correct in understanding. You would have to connect to a supported data feed provider or broker that provides historical tick data. See the link below under 'Understanding the data provided by your connectivity provider' which shows supported providers and what data they support.
