Custom Time Bars

How would I create 8 hour bars that end at 5:00, 13:00 and 21:00? Thanks.

Hello ciremoo,

As all candles are built based on the trading hours (e.g. an 8-hour candle would run from the second the session starts until 8 hours later), the solution is to change the trading hours that apply.

To do this, I would suggest first making a copy of the "Default 24x7" trading hour template. You may find this under Tools > Trading Hours:



Once the hours are changed to 9 PM (please don't forget to ensure the correct time zone is selected), applying this template to a 480-minute chart...



...will result in the candles charting each 8-hour frame:
