    Volume issue. need help..

    Hi,

I have been encountering volume issue intraday. It will show the correct volume when I lookup the ticker for the first time but after that the volume just dies realtime.

    Hello Youss,

    Thank you for your post.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)

Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

What instrument symbol (and expiry if applicable) have you selected? For example, ES 12-20, AAPL, EURUSD, etc.

(For a chart) what interval is selected? For example, 5 minute, 1 day, 2000 volume, 4 Renko, etc.

I look forward to your reply.

all intraday timeframes have this issue. I have tried 1-5 minutes however.

I have only tested on US equities. the issue is all acros the tickers.

Just to let you know that i will have to keep reloading historical data to get the right volume each time.

          Hello Youss,

          Thank you for your reply.

This is expected due to the nature of the 'Snapshot' data this is sent through the TD Ameritrade API. With regards to TD Ameritrade, the data is updated on a set time interval rather than with each incoming tick causing historical and real-time data to look different on your chart.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

              Hello Youss,

              Thank you for your reply.

The only way around it at this time would be to use a different data source for the real-time data.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
