Immediate fills

Hi,

I wanted to ask traders about their opinion on delayed fills. I understand there is a setting to “force immediate fills.”

my ask is for users who have traded live. If this is realistic to practice “immediate fills.”

For experience live traders; my question is would you recommend to continue to practice my strategies with or without the “immediate fills” so that I may develop realistic strategies for when I do go live

Thanks for writing in.

"Enforce immediate fills" is a Simulation-based feature which prevents the simulated delay from the time an order is sent to an exchange to when it is filled and you receive confirmation of the order. The Sim101 account does not actually send to an account; therefore this delay is simulated.

This setting would have no function in a real live trading account.
