nt7 feature not in nt8?

In nt7, when you open Indicators and select any indicator installed on your chart, and then on the Properties section you fold the options for "Data Series", "Setup" and "Visual", so that you are only left with "Parameters" unfolded, this setting (wherein categories were folded) will persist throughout your session every time you select an Indicator, even if you don't press "Ok". This will revert back to default (wherein all categories are unfolded) when you shutdown NT7.

Is there an option for this on NT8? If not, can you please consider this a feature request.

Unfortunately I don't see a way to have it work the same as in NinjaTrader 7. When you fold these options in NinjaTrader 8, it does not fold for other indicators. I will forward a feature request to support such functionality in NinjaTrader 8 to business development. Thank you for your feedback.

We added your vote to SFT-4696 (have expanding categories in properties windows behave the same as in NinjaTrader 7)

It is not so much as having the same behavior for all indicators but having the setting stay as it is for a particular indicator. To this end, I realized that I can edit UI.xml and set to false categories that I want folded, permanently. So for short, the current implementation on nt 8 is better.
