Data from Interactive Brokers takes 2 minutes or more to load a chart

Hi

I've asked about this before but cannot find your response (was it a message? a notification? what's the difference?) anyway...

It takes over 2 minutes to load a 1 minute chart with 10 days of data. This is obviously unusable. I want to get off Kinetick data as it's cheaper to get an entire TC2000 platform with real time data for half the price of just data from Kinetick!

But for whatever reason, IBs data is so slow to load on Ninjatrader.

Can you repeat what the reason was for this massive delay in loading the charts?

Thanks for posting.

The reason for this is that Interactive Brokers enforces heavy limitations on how much historical data they provide to NinjaTrader at a time, and will throttle your data feed once you go over this amount. Loading more than a few days of minute data will cause this.

I have the same problem with IB data feed. It is absolutely unusable for stock trading.
