Help me, I have not been able to install the ninja trader 8 ... I get an error: "a DLL file could not be executed".

This message can be indicative of a few things;

1. That your PC does not meet the minimum requirements for NinjaTrader 8. Our minimum system requirements may be found at the link below;

2. Your PC is not fully up to date. Make sure to run Windows Update on your PC to ensure that the latest updates have been installed.

3. If neither of the above are the case, this can indicate a problem with file permissions. To resolve, you will want to change the permissions to full access to:

C:\Temp and C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\

To edit the permissions;

• Open File Explorer and locate the folders mentioned above.
• Right-click on the folder and select Properties. The Windows Properties pop up window will appear.
• Select the tab Security.
• Click Edit...,the Permissions for Windows pop up window will open.
• On Group or user names, select the desired user.
• Ensure that the Allow check box for Full control is activated, else activate it.
• On the Permissions for Window pop up window, click OK (if no changes were made) or Apply (if changes were made).
• On the Windows Properties pop up window, click OK (if no changes were made) or Apply (if changes were made).
