I cannot figure out how to place trigger orders in Ninja Trader

I cannot figure out... for several days now been watching videos and reading documentation and it is just over my head. Somebody, please give me step by step instructions on how to do the following:


let's say the current price per share is 100.

I want to set a rule to Buy Long only if it becomes 100.50 and sell at 101.00
I also want to add stop loss at 100.40 (so to make it OCO)
(if it never reaches 100.50 I can always cancel the order)


And then mirror it - the same thing, but Short.



Can somebody just explain to me how to do this? I know how to do in thinkorswim, but in NinjaTrader I cannot figure this out for several days.

There are a few ways you can set up orders in the platform.

You can place orders with the SuperDOM, Chart Trader, basic entry, or an Order ticket window. The most common order entry techniques are Chart Trader and the SuperDOM.

After learning how order entry works on the platform, you will be able to set up the scenario you describe above.
