atm strategy

Hi
Is it possible to make an ATM strategy where a stop stays on the chart as a reverse? Meaning if I put a stop at a point on the chart every time the price hits that stop it reverses and the stop does not go away so I can move it around in chart trader?

Thanks for the post.

This may be achieved with the 'Reverse at stop' option in your ATM Strategy.

You may find this option by left--clicking to expand the 'More' section of your ATM Strategy Parameter menu and checking the box next to 'Reverse at stop.'

Thanks for the reply.

That means that when an order was submitted the market moved before a stop loss could be accepted.

Sometimes market volatility will cause this error, because when the order is submitted it is at an acceptable price level, but it is then rejected because the market has moved too far away from the submitted price.

For example, if I click 'Reverse' and my Stop Loss is set to 5 ticks, let's say it will be submitted at 24.09 as in your example. As a Buy Stop order, if the market jumps up to 24.15 after I click 'Reverse' but before my stop order is 'Accepted' it will then be rejected, because the market has moved above the specified stop price. One way to prevent this error would be to change your ATM Strategy so that the stop is a bit further away from the entry price, but otherwise it is up to market volatility.
