profile plotting

Hello,

I set right side margin to a big number to have a distance from most recent bar to the right side to plot there the higher timeframe volumeprofile. But the volume profile doesnt start plotting (when set to right side in paramters or course) on the far right of the chart window. It starts plotting with the last bar. Isnt it possible to have the profile starting to plot on right side margin of window?

Please see that attached screenshot to show what I mean.

Thank you for your post.

Just so I am sure that I understand correctly, you'd like to have the candlesticks of the data series to obey the right-side margin setting that you've applied but you'd like the volume profile to start within the margin?

Hello,

thank you for your reply. Yes, the profile should be on the right of the bars (where the white backcolor is) and not starting with the bars to the left.

To be able to use the 'Display in Margin' feature, you must have the Volume Profile in 'Composite' profile period mode. If you choose to turn this feature on, you may do so with the steps below;

• Right-click on your chart
• Select 'Indicators' from the menu
• Select your Order Flow Volume Profile from the lower left panel
• Change the 'profile period' to 'Composite'
• Scroll down to the 'Visual' section
• Check the box next to 'Display in Margin'
• Select Apply and OK
