Huge data lag: I think I may need to re-install NT 8

Hi,

I am experiencing a lag in my NQ data. Not for NYSE / NASDAQ data, though.

I recently had to reinstall my Microsoft Office software due to a problem with the registry, which seemed to get messed up by a data cleaning software run ( C Cleaner).

I am wondering if it messed with my NT 8 installation.

*If* I reinstall, will I lose all my chart set-ups?

Follow-up: on my third try rebooting, it worked. Mysterious!

Anyhow, would love to know what happens to chart settings if I reinstall. Thank you!

Thanks for the post.

I am happy to hear it is working now.

That being said, a basic uninstall/reinstall of the platform would not affect your chart templates, workspaces, etc. at all. These files are stored in your computer's documents directory separate from the installation files. If a user would like to remove all of their custom items, we recommend they rename the NinjaTrader 8 folder in the documents directory before reinstalling to ensure all custom files are removed from the platform.
