    Not receiving VIX data thru IQFeed connection

    Hi. I verified with IQFeed that I'm indeed subscribed, and I do see VIX data in the IQFeed client. In the settings for the VIX instrument in NinjaTrader the symbol defined for an IQFeed connection is the right one, VIX.XO. Under Options->Market Data I defined IQFeed as the preferred connection for Indexes, both realtime and historical. Other index data such as S&P500 is received, just VIX data is not getting thru. What might be the reason?

    Thank you for your post.

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.? or 8.0.?.?)

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      Hi Zachary. Thanks for your reply. Problem found. A simple thing to do with my being somewhere other than here. I forgot to put ^ before VIX. It hit me when I saw a stock instrument by the name VIX was created.
