I was finally able to recreate this symptom on my end. I have forwarded this information to the Development Team for review. I'll follow up when I have more information.

Thanks in advance for your patience.

      Hello,

I want to ask if one can plot the volume profile of every 60min in eg a 1 min chart? I see this in a room where I´m in and they are using another software. Can this be done in NT? Or with some workaround? Or is it nothing special and I did not understand untill now how to do.

      Thank you!
      Tony

You could accomplish this by changing the Order Flow Volume Profile's 'Profile period' to 'Bars' then enter '60' for the 'Bars' number. Here is an example:

          Hello,

thank you, this is what I need. But why does it start the profile not at the hour :00. It starts eg 13:48 (this is where I drew the vertical blue line)

          Next day, same: ES plotting profile 7:8, 9:48... and 6E 7:08, 8:08... and 6B 6:52, 7:52...

Why isnt the profile plotting starting where it is counted from, here at :00 with 60 min?

          Thank you!

            Hello,

here is OFvolprofile in 6B. In chart is use instrument settings. The paramters of OFvolprofile are in the screenshot. The initalbalance extremes are plotted strange in that 30 min chart.

            Thank you!

After further investigation, it seems that this behavior of a missing line is actually a symptom of expected behavior when a line with higher 'priority' exists at the same price level as the lower 'priority' line. In the help guide, you'll find this note at the bottom of the 'Order Flow Volume Profile Concepts' section:

Note: If a line is enabled, but it is not seen, it may be under another enabled line.
With that said, this is not an ideal behavior if you want to be able to see both lines. The Development Team is considering a change to this behavior. You'll find '14593' in the release notes when this change is implemented.

This is occurring because most instruments do not have data for 24 hours a day and the Order Flow Volume Profile is counting the number of bars to determine when to draw a new profile.

If you scroll to the beginning of an ES 09-20 1 minute chart with these settings, you should notice that the profiles line up on the hour. As soon as the afternoon 15-minute break occurs, we've now changed the number of bars per hour (down from 60 to 45). This 15-minute gap is what is introducing the 'offset' from the top of the hour. This then continues to grow each session as more afternoon breaks are accumulated.

There doesn't seem to be a great solution to have a one hour profile on a one minute data series and have that profile always begin at the top of an hour. I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. The internal tracking number for your feature request is SFT-4914. Please reference this internal tracking number when contacting Platform Support if you ever have questions regarding this feature request.

When a feature request is implemented, you'll find a description of the new feature in the release notes:
