    No market data on NT8 Continium Demo

    Hi,
    I've been trading with NT8 on demo account for a few weeks, but, for some reason, it stopped working.
    It got stucked at 18.00 and I can't place any order. It's frozen.
    I'm connected to my demo account as always and no error or message is displayed.
    Any ideas?

    Is the demo account older than 14 days? You can check the date of the email that your username and password arrived in. Demo accounts are only active for 14 days. After 14 days from the date shown in the email, the demo will no longer function.

      Hi, thanks for the reply, Shawn B.
      Yes, my demo is still active. It just got like 5/6 days.
      However, somehow it started to work again, but I have like 1 hour of delay.
      It's 19.17 and in the chart I got the market data at 18.17.
      What can I do?

        Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

        To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put '2666903 - Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

            Thank you for your post

            Resetting your instruments should resolve this item.

            To reset your instruments, please take the steps below.
            1. First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
            2. Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
            3. In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
            4. Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur

              Great, it works! I had "Futures expiries" unchecked for some reason.
