I had an indicator on my chart that I moved to a separate panel and have decided to delete the indicator. The panel remains and I would like to remove the extra panel.

Is there anything visible that you're seeing in that panel right now?
If not can you confirm there is no data series or indicator in your chart that has a panel setting of 2, assuming this is the second panel in the chart you're referring to.
A screenshot may help as well.
To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
