Exporting Strategy Performance to Excel

I have been performing on-screen back tests via Strategy Performance. I have a question about exporting the results to Excel.

I displayed Trades ($). Then I right-clicked the first column of Trade 1, then selected Export... Using this method, I exported the data to Excel, but when I attempted to change the number format of the Profit column via clicking the column heading, then right-clicking format cells, then clicking on number to change the color of the negative numbers, I get an error message on each cell which says "Number Stored as Text". I can click on "Convert to Number", but I would have to do this for every cell.

Is there any way to convert all the text within a column to numbers without having to do it for each cell?

Hello Bionian,

Thank you for your note.

If you highlight all the cells containing a number in the column then click "Convert to Number" it will convert all cells in the column at once.

Yes, this worked. I thought that was what I was doing when I clicked on the column header, but i guess there is a difference. Thanks.
