TD Ameritrade - Only able to get 5-minute bar data for 45-50 days

I use Ninja Trader 8.0.22 (64-bit) data connection to TD Ameritrade. I am only able to load 5-minute bar data for about the past 45-50 days. No matter which symbol I select (AAPL, SPY, CAT, etc) only the past 45-50 days appears.

If I go to daily bars, I am able to download for >1-year by switching to connection to Kinetick. But my Algos requires 5-minute data (or finer) to perform optimally.

Pls. help - what I am I doing wrong? Thanks,

Hello hobah99, thanks for your question.

The TDA connection does not use the NinjaTrader historical data server, so it would be a question for TDA and the historical limitations coming from the connection. If you are able to connect to the Kinetick EOD connection and load many years of daily data for a futures or forex instrument, it would imply TDA is not supplying any more historical data than a month or so.
