No incoming data to simulator

Simulator in NJ8 will not take order. Says something about no data incoming to the simulator ??

Thanks for your post.

Please make sure you are connected to a data provider that has realtime data enablements for that instrument and that your are viewing the current expiry. (For example Kinetick End Of Day Free provides historical daily data but does not provide realtime data.)

You can rollover instruments in the Control Center's Tools > Database Management window and clicking the Rollover button.

If you do not have realtime data viewing a current expiry, please reach out to your broker/data provider to request enabling realtime data for that instrument.

Use real time data from NJ. Checked connections. Green lights showing connection for ESU20 is only instrument we trade,. So I shut down computer and restarted. Works okay now. Even when entering real time order it would acknowledgment via voice "Order Filled" but would not show it on right side of screen. Reset computer again and all seems to work. Been having lots of problems with NJ 8 lately. Getting disappointment in system.

Please note that Chart Trader will need to be enabled and the instrument in Chart Trader's Instrument Selector will have to view the instrument you have active orders on in order to see those orders on the chart.

There is likely something that is being overlooked that would be causing the issues you have mentioned. If issues come back and it is not clear what they are, please let us know so we can assist you further.

Thanks Jim....Chart Trader... all in that was working .... at least it was showing that all was well....right now, we are okay/ Strange to have a live trade on and it does not show up.....makes for exciting trading day !!
