shortcuts and hotkeys

Hello, what is the situation of assigning hotkeys and shortcuts.
For example many/most of the function keys and ctrl FN keys are already assigned to the drawing tool menu bar list.
If i wanted to reassign a number of those to something else is this possible.

I recall asking last year on this and was told what i was trying to do was unsupported.

If i have my own indicator menu tool with options - can i reassign say F2 to one of those? if that option is a custom drawing tool process in the indicator is this possible

Im trying to determine what is feasible and what is unsupported.

I note other questions on hot keys and shortcuts to do other processes need to be coded/programmed beyond just assigning a short cut key

Thank you for your post.

Custom Drawing Tools that are added to NinjaTrader can have hot keys assigned to them and you can reassign the hot keys from other drawing tools to them. Custom drawing tools will appear in the bottom of this list.

However, setting a hot key for an option in a custom indicator would not be supported.

Thanks for update - and yes i would want ability to assign a hotkey from a drawing tool initiated within an indicator via a menu option.
I did request that this be added as a feature request a while ago but not sure if i received a SF number for this. Can you check and if not add this
