Failed to verify license - before and after updating ninjatrader 8

Ninjatrader 8 stopped working today all of a sudden. The error message (attachment) appears on start up. Trying to update to the newest available NT8 version did not help. The internet connection is working, the firewall allows Ninjatrader. After clicking the error message away, NT8 is stuck at 'Verifying license...' for about 2 minutes. After a while it says 'Initializing Database...' At last, a new error message pops up for about 1 second, before NT8 closes itself. (attachment) The past days everything still worked as intended. There were no other updates (like windows updates) done.

First restart your modem, router, and PC.

Can you email me your log and trace files to platformsupport at ninjatrader.com?

Please follow the steps below to zip your log and trace folders so they can be sent through email as an attachment.

• Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
• Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

In the body of the email include "Attn ChrisL 2613460".
