snapping of channels doesn't snap exactly to H/L/O/C of bars

moving of one point of the channel resulted in a wrong price it was snapped to

Technically speaking, I see that the line is still snapping to a bar and a price but that price isn't the high of the bar. I can reproduce this.

Could you confirm exactly what behavior you're wanting to occur in this scenario? I want to make sure I understand the symptom you're reporting. After 'disconnecting' the top line from the trend channel as a whole, you're expecting the line to snap to the high (or open, low, close) of the bar regardless of where you're necessarily letting go of the anchor?

Yes, to the closes "reference point" of a bar, like O/H/L/C would be logically. imo
sometimes it's not even snapping to prices/tick sizes

shouldn't it snap to the low of that bar dragging the anchor below that several times

Thanks for your patience. The Development Team was able to implement a change to address this symptom. That change tracking number is 14521. You'll find this number in the release notes when it has been implemented into the public release of NinjaTrader.
