How to download historical data prior to 2015?

Hello,

I have been able to download ES tick based historical data from 2016 to the present date, but the data seems to be incomplete or missing for 2015 and before. Is there some settings that I need to carry out or something I have done wrong? Thank you for your help.

I am not aware of any supported data provider that supplies more than one year of historical tick data. Can you elaborate on how you obtained this data?

I was about to download the data from the Historical Data tool, please see attached image. I am using Continuum.

Continuum only provides one year of historical tick data. Data beyond that would need to come from an outside source and be configured for import.

Actually I was able to download complete data set from 2016 to the present date, just fyi.

That's excellent! There are some instruments that may have more than one year of data, but that is not guaranteed across all instruments. We guarantee one year of tick data for all supported instruments.

Look for Tickstory Lite , I imported this way forex data back to 2010. The program downloads the data from Dukascopy archive. See if they have a data you need.
Also , please pay attention to limitations regarding amount of historical data which can be imported at once. I just started a new topics about it.
