A questoin for the strategy analyzer

Hi all

Is it because im using Interactive Broker - which does not support historical ticks - that i dont see the AI Generate feature ion the Strategy Analyser?

Welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

That should not cause the AI generate specifically to not show up. Can I confirm that you are looking in the drop down menu of the strategy analyzer? You should see other options like optimization.

Are you using the 64 bit NinjaTrader?

Can you also check the version you are using in the Help -> About menu?

Im using :8.0.16.3 64-bi

yes it is Strategy Analyzer

I get all other in the drop down - i believe - but im missing that AI

Hello KarstenKafl,

Thanks for checking that. The version you are using does not have the AI generator, that is a newer tool. The version you are using is fairly out of date, the current version is 8.0.22.1 https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...8/8_0_22_1.htm

I would suggest to update to the latest platform from NinjaTrader.com. Because the platform is more than a few versions behind I would suggest to do a clean installation rather than an upgrade here. You can use the windows control panel to first un install NinjaTrader and then re install the current version from the website.

ok thanks - pretty weird. I dont remember that i chose any install version - especially not an "Old" one..

Hello KarstenKafl,

When you install you generally just get the latest version instead of picking a version, it may just be that you have not updated in some time. The platform should have popup messages when new versions come out to let you know to go download it, otherwise you can see the change log in the help guide to make sure you are up to date.

At this time there is not, just what we have in the help guide is currently available. This is a new feature which has not been fully finished yet so the documentation on it is very limited.
