    Trade Performance : Duplicate entries

    Hi there,
    I am seeing duplicate entries & phantom trade when running Trade Performance.
    When I change dates, duplicate entries are no longer there.
    I have attached screen shots and Log
    - 1- Running trade performance from Oct 1 - 3, 2018, I see duplicate entries and 1 phantom trade, see screen shot Duplicate entries & phantom
    - 2 Running trade performance from Sept 1 to Oct 3, 2018, no duplicate and no phantom trade.
    We usually compare our script perfomance on 2 machines in different locations ( cities), with same scripts and still the results are identical and with same issues unless we had power or internet outage.

    Would you know what is causing that. Please find log attached aswell.

    NinjaTrader's Trade Performance needs to be run from a start date from which the selected account(s) was flat. I would expect potential execution mismatches if on your start date the account(s) was not flat.

    However, I would not expect duplicate executions and I'd like to look into this further. Please send me your database, log, and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.
    • You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support
    • Expand 'Other files' and enable 'Database file'.
    • Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 1982573 ATTN Patrick G

        Hello akitenge,

        Thank you for sending in the files.

        Trade Performance will tie executions together for the day as trades. This means if you only look from October 1st then the first execution of that day was to close the prior day's open position and thus it treats it as an entry and the true entry 'Sell Short' is treated as if it is another position. Both of these positions are then closed by the wrong execution.

        You will need to extend the Trade Performance back to ensure the proper executions are viewed for trades.

            Hello akitenge,

            Thank you for your response.

            I am not sure which one in your screenshot is the phantom trade however, any incorrect pairing of the executions is corrected when we view a date range that starts at flat.

            Please let me know if you have any questions.

              Hi Patrick,

              I have re attached a screen shot of the phantom ( and highlighted) that is also seen along with duplicate entries but this one went way above the stop loss which is set to 30 ticks ( $300).
              Here is my last question, with regards to Trade performance and the way we have to select date range going to the time when the account was flat. Where is that documented. I guess this isn't a bug with the reporting tool.
