Ma cross template

Hello. I tried to use Simple MA cross over template on a sim account. It should trade 1 contract, but Ninja shows 2 contracts in Positions. What does that mean?

Also yesterday I've set up to trade Gold futures and today was a signal to buy, but it didn't execute it, why? File in attachment

In the example of the CL 07-20, the strategy tab shows a position of 1 short while the account position shows 2 short. The single position is what the strategy has placed. The account position would show all positions on the instrument in that account. For example, if the strategy places 1 short which gets filled and then you manually place a short order that gets filled then that would present as shown in your screenshot. In general, you would not want to manually trade in the same instrument on the same account as the strategy is running.

File in attachment" Please check the log tab for any errors related to the strategy. If no errors then the next step would be to debug the strategy to determine why it is not placing orders as you expect. This is typically done by using Print statements that send their output to the New>Ninjascript output window.
