thanks that worked great. appreciate your help. can you help me or guide me in how should I do this condition in strategy builder:
So I am on the 5 min chart, but I want to take long trade above the bands if the 4 hour chart price is above the upper band. is there a way to check the price compared to the indicator at the 4 hour chart to apply it on the 5 min chart?

Hello babouin77,
Yes you can add an additional 4 hour data series for that use case. The builder has an Additional Data page where you can add that.
Later in your conditions instead of selecting the default input you could select the added series as the input for the indicator.
I look forward to being of further assistance.

Hello babouin77,
You can find a tutorial that goes over the basic menus and features of the builder in the following link. I would suggest to go through this at least once to familiarize yourself with the different screens that you will encounter. https://youtu.be/HCyt90GAs9k
You can also find a picture of the builder menu here: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...onalDataScreen
I look forward to being of further assistance.

Hello babouin77,
The tutorial covers the tool in general so when we provide details about a menu or how to do something you will know where that is. Having a basic understanding of where things are in the builder will greatly help.
The second link I provided is directly what you asked for so you can see that to answer your question on the visual of the menu.
Please let me know if I may be of additional help.

Hello babouin77,
Thanks for the more specific question.
You can use an added series in one of your conditions by selecting it as the input.
Have you added a secondary series at this point and created any kind of condition in one of the sets?
If so you can go back and edit the condition, for example the Close you can now select its Input by selecting where it says "Default Input".
The same would happen for indicators or anything that uses input, anywhere it shows Default Input you can hover the mouse and set it to be the secondary series.
I've attached an image showing the Default input for the Close.
Please let me know if I may be of additional help.
