Is it possible to attach the DOM to the price chart like chart trader does? Or maybe if the DOM can be incorporated with chart trader in the future.

Hello Trader17,

Yes, working orders can also be attached to indicators with NinjaTrader 8.

First add an indicator to the SuperDOM (right-click the SuperDOM select Indicators). Place an order like a limit or a stop order. Right-click the order > select the order type and price > select Attach to Indicator.

Thanks. I was not asking about an indicator. I was wondering if the DOM always needs to open and stay in its own window or is it possible to have it like in a chart tab or attached to a chart similar to chart trader.

Hello Trader17,

The Dom would need its own window, currently, there is no native tool that would allow snapping or otherwise placing the DOM inside a chart. We do have NinjaScript examples showing how to access level2 data and the rows in case you wanted to develop something like this.

This simply demonstrates how to collect the orderbook and print the rows. To have this on a chart would require some way of displaying the data. This could be an indicator as one example where you render the data.

Is there a way to show the gains/losses at each individual price level. Other DOMs have that ability. Does Ninja?
