Direct API Linux

I was looking for an API for NinjaTrader I could use in Linux and I came across this link:

Thank you for the post.

This type of development would be outside of what our support could assist with as NinjaTrader is a windows only application. There is currently no supported way run NinjaTrader on linux.

For Windows development, it would be suggested to avoid using the API methods and just use NinjaScript where it is possible. The API methods are exposed for existing software to connect with NinjaTrader. Although it is possible to use this with other software it is not something we would suggest/support/document. You can find a post on this topic with some unsupported windows samples here.

NinjaTrader can run on a Windows VPS server in case you just don't have a windows PC to use for NinjaTrader.
