    Hello viomode,

    Thank you for your reply.

This would not be possible within NinjaTrader. However, I have added a vote for you to a current feature request to allow different NinjaTrader windows to be placed inside a large containing window. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-712.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

    Release Notes — https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ease_notes.htm

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.

In case it helps - you can minimise/maximise all Ninja windows together using a Windows shortcut - hover over the Ninja icon in the taskbar, right-click and you have several options that will act concurrently on all windows open in Ninja

Thanks, brucerobinson. I was able to do what you mentioned in Win10 by holding down the left shift button and right-clicking on the taskbar icon. Then, I got an option menu which allowed me to minimize/restore all.

Just had to chime in and say this is a perfect example of a company giving its client base the big "FU". I mean really all these years and still........

Dont get me started on the fact that ninjatrader still doesn't have a way to do daily settlement on daily, weekly, or monthly candles. Only hacky ways to do it that do not work properly. I saw that the post was 7 years old and still nothing has been done about it. I understand that there's an order of priority but 7 years to add the most basic function to a charting platform is crazy. Give it another decade and you might get this feature.

                    • how many people are working there
                    • how many requests they receive each year
                    • etc
Me, and you probably too, have no idea about the size of the workload that support has. And don't forget that we don't pay anything at all for that support.
You! have to admit too, that most questions are answered quickly. At least that is my experience.
Hi marcus2300 the things you listed are relevant to a degree in general terms but not in the cases where literal years have gone by and nothing..(Oh yes you do pay for the support unless you use the "free" version). But as you probably know this has been a feature request going back many Years. One example

I stand by my interpretation as it's just a big ol "FU" to the customers!
                    Have a great one!

Why do you stay with Ninjatrader if you have better options with competitors? Not a single company has only perfect scores, they all have weak points too.

To understand why they "FU", you should know the internal organization of the company, the workload they have and many other things. As you don't have this information, you cannot judge honestly/correctly if they don't care about you.

81% give 4 or 5 stars, from which 75% give the maximum. Not really proof that they "FU" their customers.

Brucerobinson gave a perfect solution for your problem.
Look at Tradingview and ninjatrader and you will soon realise that ninjatrader is lacking significantly in QOL features. You can have multiple windows natively open in the app. You can switch between drawings easily, you can manage drawings easily, you have cloud alerts so you can turn your pc off and not have to worry about your alerts not being hit. Now you can say go to tradingview, I use both. I execute on ninja and do all analysis on TV because ninja just does not cut it. Size of the team etc is a possible factor but you mean to tell me its been 7 years and you still cant get native settlement on close vs daily close? ridiculous. I want to root for ninja but its a far cry at the moment.

You are free to make a choice, and Ninjatrader is also free to make a choice.
It is funny that you mentioned Tradeview. I switched last week from Tradeview to Motivewave, as for me Tradeview is inferior to Motivewave. So I did not complain but switched to a product that better suits my needs.
I also miss things in Ninjatrader, but Ninjatrader is the best option to me, even with the missing options that I would like to have.
It has nothing to do with "changing at will". Its like owning a car that doesn't have power steering. In the modern age do you think its sufficient? at the end of the day you'll lose customers as a result
