No market data available

Hi,

I have installed NT8 with a sim (demo account)

I setup a demo account successfully and i trade futures, but when I tried to trade micro futures I can only trade 1 or 2 micro markets but i can't place orders for the others like (MGC, SIL, M6J ... ) ,and I got this message when i try to set order on the superdom.

sim 101, there is no market data available to drive the simulation engine

I did install the latest windows 10 updates and installed NT8 later.
I have no problem getting a data on other futures like ZN, ZB, GC, ES.... by the way.

NB: I already see some steps on the forum and i try those steps below but it didn't work.

(1. First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
2. Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
3. In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
4. Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur)

Thank you for the post.

Unfortunately the demo would be limited and not provide data for some instruments, such as MGC, SIL and M6J.

It sounds as though your platform is working as expected, you are just not receiving live data for those instruments to fuel the simulation engine.

Please let us know if we any be of any further assistance.
