drawn lines disappear

why when I draw a line on a chart, switch to another symbol, then come back.... the line has gone?

What version of NinjaTrader 8 are you using? Please provide the entire version number. This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 8.0.?.?)

Are these local objects or global objects?

Can you elaborate further on the exact steps you're taking? Please be as specific as possible so I may attempt to recreate what you're reporting.

8.0.19.0 64-bit

I'm on a 60 minute chart - I go up to the drawing menu (the pencil) - choose 'Line' - then I draw a line on the chart.

Then I choose another ticker from the market analyzer which is linked to these charts.

When I chose the original ticker I had drawn the line on, the line has disappeared.

That's it.

I see that you're using an older and unsupported version of NinjaTrader 8. To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Please let me know if this symptom persists after the update with a newly drawn object.

well now i've had to revert to an older version to get rid of the drawing tools error causing the application to not load.... but now I have disappearing lines again which is so annoying.

you guys fixed the new version yet?

If you view the release notes, you'll find that item 14492 fixed global object duplication. I know that we specifically were working on this together via email and you did not respond to my follow up emails. Please follow up with my emails to complete that conversation.
