Questions regarding static DOM

Hi,

when i subscribe to the static DOM can i trade through a third party broker like Interactive Brokers with it?
Also can i trade only futures with the static DOM or can i use it to trade other vehicles?

Thank you for writing in with your question today regarding the Static SuperDOM.
When you use the Static SuperDOM, it will need to be enabled with your license key which is associated with your Broker. If you are using Interactive Brokers, you would just want to ensure that you are enabled for the data you wish to receive on the SuperDOM.
Regarding the ability to trade other instrument types besides futures, from my understanding the Static SuperDOM can only trade Future instruments and there is currently a feature request for the ability to use other instrument types. These feature requests can be tracked with ID # SFT-1907 for Stocks and SFT-978 for Forex.
When a feature request is implemented, you'll find a description of the new feature in the release notes:

Hi Brendan,

thank you for responding. So i have a multi broker license. If i enable the static DOM with that license it means i can use the static DOM to trade
futures on any supported broker. Which the license allows me to use, did i understand that right?

Data i get through the Ninjatrader Continuum feed.

Thank you for your response.
From my understanding, once you have subscribed to the Static SuperDOM with your license key, you may open that window and select the desired account (in the drop-down account selection menu) that is available to place trades with, similarly as you would select your account in another order entry window such as the Chart Trader or Dynamic SuperDOM.
