EMA Alert Question

Hello,

Trying to program a simple alert to activate should price be within 2 pips of EMA. Attached are pictures of the alert however it is not working.

Any idea why?

This is likely not working because it is rare that the price would be exactly equal 2 pips above the EMA. I think changing the operator would guarantee a more likely true condition.

I would instead create two conditions which define the range of 2 above or below the EMA as being the action trigger.

• use 'If all' instead of 'if any'
• last price <= EMA with offset = 2 pips
• last price >= EMA with offset = -2 pips
