Market hours + Market analyzer

If the day session is over, what market analyzer columns determine if it is returning the last bar of the day's session or the latest after hours bar. I tried 24/7 default, instrument default - but did not see anything definitive.

Thank you for your post.

To clarify, the Market analyzer will show data in the platform each time that instrument is traded or the last traded price is updated or changed. You would not be able to see changes in this information when the market is closed as there are no trades that occur.

Can you clarify what exactly you're looking to display in the Market Analyzer? I'm not quite clear on what you're asking for.

Right now the market is closed. I am editing a custom column. I am watching GRUB which is still trading, after hours. Is it always reading the most recent bar, or is it reading the session close bar. See image. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately the chart image you've attached does not show price information for the bars in question, I would also need a screenshot of your Market Analyzer for reference.

If you look at the last traded price in your chart if it matches the price you're seeing in the Market Analyzer (MA) this would indicate the MA is showing the last traded price at that time.
Additionally the MA will flash yellow when it's price is updated.

If you're seeing the MA flash yellow and the price change after the regular trading hours, this indicates that it is still updating to the last traded price. The Market analyzer does not have a concept of historical time in general and will always show the last known value of an instrument. The exception to this will be columns that are based on a historical time such as daily highs and lows, etc.
