Testing inside session

Hello, if I set up break at EOD in Strategy Analyzer, what does that mean? Does it mean, that I trade only inside current trade session and my positions are not keeped overnight?

Thank you for your post.

All the Break at EOD does is ensure that when a new trading day begins, the previous bar is cut off if it would overlap that boundary and a new bar is formed at that time. You can learn more about Break at EOD in our help guide here:

Break at EOD does not restrict your strategy from trading in any way, just controls how bars are formed at the end of the day.

Which way of testing is mostly close to reality?

I think, I understand: it's neccessary to break bars to form realistic view to see the end of the trading session, yes? Because the end of the trading session could be inside for instance 30 min bars, is it right?

That's correct - it's really so you can start off each new day in the same spot to ensure a consistent chart from day to day.
