Rithmic plugin

Is NinjaTrader planning to have a connection to the Rithmic feed as a plugin to an opened RTrader Pro. This way a user can be connected to them concurrently and only pay once for data.

There are no plans to support RTrader Pro, however, we are tracking demand via feature requests from users to reconsider adding support for this. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

Please add my vote as well, my personal drivers being the assumed very fast data feed speed of Rithmic and the ability to consolidate to a single feed for both NT8 and Bookmap.

Alternatively a potential feature request for the NT related data provider Kinetic .. If Kinetic has the speed and breadth of Rithmic then a feature request to Kinetic to support both NT8 and Bookmap at the same time from the same feed.

The description and screenshot from the release notes is:

This mode should only be enabled if instructed by your data provider, it allows re-use of a single market data login between multiple platforms on the same computer and requires some setup prior to use.

Could you elaborate further on what your question is regarding this feature?

NinjaTrader_PatrickG please excuse my ignorance, but is it just a matter of checking the "Plug-in mode for market data" box? I tried that and now Rithmic won't connect. (Unchecked it and was again able to connect.) So again I ask, can Ninja provide more detail (e.g. a connection guide) for using Rithmic in plug-in mode?

You should reach out to your broker for instructions on how to utilize this feature. It requires configuration and use of RItmic Trader Pro. Who is your broker?
