Freezes

Hi

We have a custom strategy we trade live via NinjaTrader Continuum.

Typically we run the same strategy simultaneously against multiple instruments and charts.

Often, when we have “N” instances enabled, we may disable one of them in the NT8 Control Centre's “Strategy Panel”, change a setting, and then re-enable it.

Sometimes when we do this, the strategy will enable OK (i.e. go yellow or green), but then NT8 will freeze.

When this happens:
a) There are no errors showing in the log.
b) Windows Task Manager doesn't show any evidence of CPU or memory being under any particlar stress or strain.
c) "N" might be 5, or might be 20. There does not seem to be consistency in relation to how many instances are enabled when this happens.
d) It does not seem to be related to a particular contract or chart type.

Have you got any suggestions as to what might be happening?

Are you able to reproduce this behavior using multiple instances of the Sample MA Crossover strategy that is included with NinjaTrader?

When using this sample strategy, is there a specific number of scripts that must be added before the behavior occurs?

If you cannot reproduce with the Sample MA Crossover I would like an export of your script so that I may test for the behavior on my end.
