chart text background color

I have a licensed indicator that I use daily that has background color on text (left - its green and subtle might have to zoom in) but have never seen it replicated on other things I have, or options for it in normal settings. I have Fibonacci without (right). Can you tell me how I can add a background to text labels on my chart.

(Presumably, you do not have source code to this licensed indicator.)

Check the parameter settings of the licensed indicator.
Check the documentation that came with the licensed indicator.
Carefully confirm the desired feature is missing.

After that, ask the author of the licensed indicator.

If the author has not exposed this feature, then chances are you're completely
out of luck, in which case your next step is to raise holy hell with the author
on why such a simple feature is missing. Politely, of course.

Confused - the indicator was just an example to show what I want to do - are you saying they did something that I cannot repeat (adding background to text elements on some standard indicators)? Thanks, appreciate the help

When you draw a text string on the chart, don't the properties allow you to change the background color?

In NinjaTrader 8,
Using the Drawing Tool to draw some Text on your chart.
Left-click the Text object to select it.
Right-click for the context menu.
Select Properties.
You're probably wanting to change 'Color - area' setting.

Is this what you mean?

bltdavid has provided some great information here. I would also recommend reaching out to the developer directly in the event this color property has not been made customizable in the Indicator's Properties menu.
