I've tried videos and the manual but I cannot find a way to hotkey time scale. Like 1M 5M etc. I saw a video with it on a mouse, which tied it to NT hotkeys so I assume I am just not looking in the right area.

You can change using your keyboard using shortcuts such as 15m for 15 minute, or 100t for 100 tick. Below is a link to our help guide going over this:
