IB Gateway / TWS closes down at night - how do I prevent?

I have a few strategies that I would like to run overnight , though my Interactive Brokers TWS and Gateway reset themselves in the middle of the night (a quick Google search shows they go down for maintenance every night?) Anyways, It shuts off the strategies automatically and makes it pointless to run them overnight

Is there a way to prevent TWS/Gateway from shutting down?

NinjaTrader has connection lost settings under Tools>Options>Strategies>NinjaScript. Details about these settings are documented here:

If the strategy recalculates, NinjaTrader will enact the strategies "Startup Behavior" setting. If you have not read about all of the startup options for strategies in NinjaTrader, please see this page:

These settings describe what will happen as a strategy goes from processing on historical data to real time data.

If you want to test out what happens when NinjaTrader loses the connection, you may sever the connection using Microsoft's TCPView:

Looking here https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/index.php?f=2225 IB does a system reset overnight

I have put into the 'connection loss' option for it to 'keep running' and made the restart attempts a higher number than default. Hope this works. Thanks again
