    Alerts not working

    Hi!

    I tried to create an alert on NT7 and on NT8. The idea is to notify me when there's a bar with a volume of more than 500 contracts. But in both versions the same thing happens to me, it alerts me the first 2 times of the day, and then it stops working, or works at some time, in an absolutely random way.

    All my operations are based on volume, if I don't succeed it'll have to use another platform

    I enclose a screenshot of how I have it configured in NT8.
    I use a line that I put in 500 contracts, I also send image

    If you use an operator of 'greater' and also choose 'Numeric value = 500' for the right-side condition, does this alert work as desired? Here is an example:

        I've the same problem again in NT8, it only alerts me sometimes, randomly

          Please clarify - you're using the conditions that I mentioned which were previously working? Or have you changed the alert since it was working?

          Can you send me screenshots verifying your general alert and condition properties?

          Can you tell me the instrument and exact time when the conditions of your alert were true but the alert did not trigger? If possible, demonstrate this via screenshot as well.

            I have the same problem with the configuration of the alarm with volume, it stops working. When I set it up again it works again, but after a while it stops working.

              Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
              • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
              • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
              • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
              • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders
              I look forward to your reply.
