Data in Strategy Analyzer

If one is using 1min data series with

order fill resolution: high
Type: Tick
Value: 1

and fill limit orders on touch say from 1/1/2018 to 8/16/2018

I plan on doing some optimizing when on a long flight. What kind of data do I need to download to my local NT folder to use strategy analyzer with above settings?

Thanks for the note.

You can go to Tools>Historical data>Load tab, then download the span of data for the backtest. You have options to download tick, minute, and day, along with the last, bid, and ask prices. Make sure you check tick to get tick data.

Thx for the note. So strategy analyzer uses historical data, but what's the difference between historical data and market replay data if both are set to use 1 tick?

Thanks for the reply.

Market Replay data is a special format for the Playback connection only. Historical data can be exported and used to fill charts and perform backtests.
